Called and spoke with Cynthia briefly, and she replied someone would be here in 30 minutes. Lee arrived in about 15 minutes and listened to what happened to the garage door. He knew exactly what was wrong, how long it would take to fix it, and gave us a quote for repair. We accepted and he immediately went to work. A metal cable on the reel on one side had came off the reel. He fixed that. It had wrapped around itself when we had a walking stick that dropped into the track of the door so he fixed that. He then checked the two different types of safety features on BOTH doors and adjusted them. And finally, explained to us how to lubricate the springs, hinges, and rollers on the door, and then did that for us as well. I could not have asked for a better company, better repairs, or a better rate for those repairs. They are VERY experienced in all aspects of their trade. I recommend this company very highly and certainly will do business with them again should we ever have problems with our garage door again. THANKS VERY MUCH!

Called for emergency service of my door bent came off track and bent some other metal. Extremely quick for response. Gave quote to repair which was reasonable but opted to just replace the whole thing. Was not pushy to try and upsell from repair, I just immediately asked for replacement. I have been wanting a new door anyway. The quote for replacement was extremely reasonable. Door was dropped down for the night and the next day he came right on time and got straight to work. Quick work and was very friendly at answering questions I had. Amazed at how quiet the new door and opener was. The new door finally keeps all the light out as well as the noise. They went over the safety features of my automatic garage door, and tested them with me to show me they worked. He also lubed all the hinges on the door. Lee was very responsive in coming out to give an estimate and then always communicating with me to let me know the next steps in the process. He informed me that it would be a special order for the doors I wanted and the approximate wait time. I had other options if I wanted the doors replaced immediately. I appreciated the information given during the estimate visit. He was courteous and quick during the replacement process. He even took time after the installation to look at a neighbor's garage door that had been giving the neighbors problems. What a great experience this was. My door spring broke and I decided it was time to replace the old wood door. After checking around I found GDR&I and they had the best price on a premier double steel insulated door.
I called back that afternoon and was scheduled for the next morning. The installer, Rob, was out promptly and had the door in by himself in a couple of hours.

At first, Lee mentioned that my old unit was still functional, but I went ahead and decided I wanted a new unit. Lee said that he could come out a few hours later and install the new unit for me. One of my garage doors came off the rails and the metal cable that helps pull the door up came off of the pulley. I contacted Garage Doors Repairs & Installations through Angie's List and less than 30 minutes later, they contacted me. Had an opening the next day and where promptly on time. The technician looked at the door, gave me a price of $129 to fix it. One hour later he was done and the door was operational again. I was afraid there might be some pressure to sell replacement parts, but nothing like that occurred. A 90 day warranty included. I will be contacting Garage Doors Repairs & Installations again the next time I have garage door issues.

I called this morning because the door wouldn't close and they installed the opener a couple months ago. They told me he would be here between 10:00 and 10:30. He showed up at 10:00 and was gone by 10:15. The repair was covered under warranty and they still resolved the issue in an hour and a half from the call. That is amazing!!!!
